WAREHOUSE FREIGHT COORDINATOR

About the Position
As the Warehouse Freight Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating warehouse activities with an emphasis on coordinating inbound and outbound freight. Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Warehouse Freight Coordinator is responsible for the activities in receiving, pulling, inspecting, packaging, and shipping, as well as the planning, negotiation, development and implementation of freight systems and processes.
Essential Duties and Requirements
- Negotiate and analyze shipping rates with freight carriers
- Manage agreements and ongoing relationship with logistics providers as required
- Determine efficient and cost-effective methods of moving goods to customer or final destination
- Complete shipping documentation, including: bills of lading, packing lists, certificates of origin, and required NAFTA documents
- Maintain knowledge of applicable legislation or other factors that could affect freight shipping
- Inform customers of details such as shipping options, timelines, transfers, or regulations affecting shipments
- Recommend appropriate merchandise packing methods
- Verify proper packaging and labeling of exported goods
- Review and analyze commercial invoices, export declarations, bills of lading, and other documents as required by the carrier, customer, and country(ies) of import/export
- Drive ongoing cost reduction, containment, and logistical efficiency to ensure competitive cost position
- Partner with key departments to integrate/coordinate logistics with other company business systems and processes such as: sales, purchasing, accounting, and shipping
- Stay abreast of latest technological improvements/options related to logistics, transportation, and distribution
- Resolve problems concerning transportation that may occur between internal and external parties
Warehouse Duties
- Lead and direct warehouse for safe, efficient, and productive operations
- Schedule warehouse personnel
- Coordinate activities in receiving, pulling, inspecting packaging and shipping
- Prepare customer orders for shipment
- Receive machine parts and materials
- Labeling machine parts and materials
- Light assembly of adjustable levers, leveling mounts, cranks, etc.
- Loading/unloading machine parts and other materials
Inspecting, sorting, arranging, and stacking machine parts and other materials
- Communicate with 2nd Shift Team Lead and Machine Shop Supervisor
Other duties as assigned
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two/three years’ related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of one year of logistics/freight forwarding experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse or wholesale distribution setting.

SALES ENGINEER I

About the Position
As the Sales Engineer, you will be responsible developing and maintaining both new and existing customer accounts. Your clients will have a demand for the Company’s products and services within a specific geographic region – CA, NV, AZ. Strong communication skills and fluency in English and Spanish required. A technical and mechanical background that is equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field will enable you to be successful in this position.
Essential Duties and Requirements
- Sell standard and custom machinery parts, assembly components for installation and use in a variety of diverse machinery, display and equipment manufacturing industries.
- Demonstrate how standard machine components may lower operating costs and/or increase production and efficiency, based on customer requirements
- Develop and present proposals for specific customer applications and requirements; respond to requests for industry and application-specific solutions
- Recommend standard machine components and secondary machining based on customer needs
- Partner with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine appropriate application for standard machine components
- Provide technical support to customers regarding the installation and implementation of standard machine components that are application-specific
- Troubleshoot and assist customers in the diagnosis of problematic or malfunctioning equipment or end-user applications and recommend Company products or services as solutions
- Establish quarterly and annual sales goals in partnership with Chief Executive Officer and Sales Department
- Collaborate with Sales Department to fully determine customer requirements and to provide technical sales support for Company's products and services
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain Company products and services to customers and prospective customers
- Expand market exposure for Company through sales leads provided, cold calls, and trade shows
At least 8 years technical sales experience relating to machine components for industry or similar products and services that is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline is required. Excellent initiative, active listening, and positive and personable interpersonal communication skills necessary. Must be able to travel overnight a minimum of 25%. Experience with Prophet 21, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint a plus.
