||The plunger in GN 313 spring bolts does not protrude in the inoperative position.
It can be operated manually, or in the case of Type D and DK, mechanically (pneumatic cylinder, cam plate, etc.), where it will protrude only as long as it is operated.
Type 1 versions feature plungers without internal thread, while Type 2 versions have an internal thread in the plunger.
An application example for the Type 2 would be using the internal thread on the pressure side, for operation of special pressure bolts or a rod arrangement.
