GN 615
Specification
Information

Threaded body: Steel, zinc plated, blue passivated
Plunger pin: Stainless steel, European Standard No. 1.4305 (American Standard Series 303)
Spring: Stainless steel, European Standard No. 1.4305 (American Standard Series 301)
Knob: Technopolymer plastic (Polyamide PA), black matte finish, not removable
Sleeve: Technopolymer plastic (Polyamide PA), black or red matte finish, not removable
Lock nut: Steel, zinc plated, ISO 8675
Key: Technopolymer plastic (Polyamide PA), black matte finish, with zinc-plated steel key mechanism

In the rest position the pin of the GN 816 plunger protrudes. To retract the pin, pull the knob up against the spring force to the final position and turn it 90° to lock the pin in the retracted position.
The shape of the cam curve secures the plunger against accidental operation.
When operating the button (Type AR/ARK), the visible red covering sleeve indicates the locking status: indexing pin does not protrude.
For use with key (Type B/BK), a key is required to move the plunger in the same manner as the knurled knob type. In this version, a cover sleeve provides additional security and safety from unauthorized removal of the locking plunger. The cover sleeve also provides additional protection against malfunction caused by dirt.
Spacer bushing GN 609.
