Pin body : Steel, tempered, hardened
Type A: Cylindrical, no center hole (seating pin)
Type B: Cylindrical, with center hole (locating pin)
Type C: Flattened, with center hole (locating pin)
||DIN 6321 locating / seating pins are inserted into bores for positioning. The flattened design of Type C provides tolerance for the spacing of the two bores.
Another application of this design is to fix parts to be positioned in one direction only.
Types A and B can also be used as bearing surfaces, stops, or feet.
