GN 115.1 Mini-Latches have smaller dimensions than GN 115, and are ideal for small doors and flaps. Mini-latches are an economical choice. They offer a straight-forward latching action rather than a locking and clamping action.
The latch distance A of mini-latches is made to accommodate 8, 14 and 20 mm.
All latches are supplied unassembled.
Latches with key operation (Type SCK) are supplied with two keys. Keys for triangular or square spindle or spindle with slot must be ordered separately (see below).
Key can be removed from latch in both open and locked positions. s
In the standard key latch versions, all latches have the same barrel and can be operated with the identical key.
Latches requiring different barrels and keys are available upon request.
For sheet metal punches for door locks/latches, see GN 123.

Technical and Assembly Instructions

By turning the mini-latch, limited to max 90°, the lever arm is moved behind the frame. Thus the opening of the door or shutter is prevented.
The latch arm protrudes slightly towards the outside.
The sketch on the right shows the hole required through which the latch housing is installed.
The mechanism is inserted through the hole from the front and the hexagon nut can be mounted from the back.
For multiple production, the mounting hole for the door is created by punching or with a laser.
For small batch production and sheet metal up to 2 mm thickness, use of the GN 123 sheet metal punch is suitable.
Additionally, the mounting hole can be created by drilling / milling according to the sketch on the left.
