Elesa® original design technopolymer plastic
mushroom shaped knobs.
Softline coating makes GN 718.1 knobs ergonomical, safe and easy to handle. It improves the contact between a damp (perspiration) or dry hand, or an oily surface, whether in a cold or hot environment.
For mounting, gentle blows with a soft hammer are sufficient to drive the knob into place. The shaft end should be slightly rounded or chamfered (30°).
The transparent sight glass (Type T) allows symbols or similar markings to be displayed. Once the knob has been mounted to the shaft, the symbol is placed into the recess of the separately supplied sight glass, which is then carefully pushed or driven into the handle.
The symbol is fully protected from dirt and liquid by the tight connection between the sight glass and the knob.
These knobs replace the former EN 718 version.
Maximum heat resistance of plastic: 80°C (175°F).
