Fixed cylindrical handles EN 539 can equally well be used to replace ball knobs on operating / gear lever handles. In that case the operating end of the lever handle will need to have a tapped hole for mounting the EN 539 fixed cylindrical handle.
The threaded stud is deeply embedded in the handle which greatly increases the strength of the plastic body.
