Product description
In the unlocked position, the pin of the locking indexing plunger GN 816 protrudes. To retract the pin, pull the knurled knob up against the spring force to the final position and turn it 90° to lock the pin in the retracted position. The shape of the cam curve secures the plunger against accidental operation.
When operating the knurled knob (type AR / ARK), the visible red cover sleeve indicates the locking status: plunger pin is retracted.
For Type B / BK, a key is required to move the plunger in the same manner as the knurled knob type. In this version, a cover sleeve provides additional security and safety from unauthorized removal of the locking plunger. The cover sleeve also provides additional protection against malfunction caused by dirt.
