Product description

Indexing plungers GN 817.5 make highly accurate positioning possible, by utilizing press-fit drill bushings DIN 172 / DIN 179 as a guide. The utilization of the drill bushing and either the guide bushings GN 172.1 or GN 179.1 provides two mating parts for the indexing plunger pin.

The conical shape of the plunger pin / indexing bore makes positioning virtually clearance-free and therefore highly precise.

The lock-out type C is used for applications where the plunger pin needs to stay in its retracted position. To achieve this, the knob is rotated by 90 degrees after being retracted. A notch keeps the plunger in the retracted position.
