Locators GN 417.1 are matched to indexing plunger latch mechanisms GN 417 and are used to position the plunger pin. The height h1 in each part is precisely matched. Additional design measures that would otherwise be necessary are made superfluous by the locators.
They are mounted using slots that permit adjustment parallel to the mounting hole. For example, this allows gap dimensions to be adjusted for doors or tolerance errors to be compensated. Washers make it easier to mount the parts using the slots.
This article is RoHS-compliant in application of Annex III., which means it complies with EU Directive 2011/65/EU, including extension (2015/863/EU), for restricting the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic devices.
